CHEAP LIGHT BEER TASTING

in two weeks, we are doing cheap light beer tasting. the requirements are that the beer costs less than 75 cents per can/locally. the plan is to taste the following:

miller high life lite
old milwaukee's best light
keystone light
natural light
busch light

we need to check prices on pearl light and michelob light.

any other suggestions???

  1. Pearl Light - $8.29 for a 12 pack. This brew was originally from the oldest brewery in Texas located in San Antonio. Pearl's history goes all the way back to Bremen, Germany! It made its debut in the states in 1886. Sadly it's not made at the Pearl Brewery in San Antonio anymore and is brewed in Ft. Worth by Miller. It will be interesting to see how it tastes against other Miller products.

    Shaefer Light - $8.29 for a 12 pack. 69 pennies a can. Wow, now that's cheaper than water. Shaefer has a long history too, starting in the 1840's in NYC. Shaefer was once the best selling beer in America!

  2. good call on the pearl and shaefer. we picked up both of those and pearl light actual won the taste test!
